Nau mai, haere mai – Welcome back! I’m excited to relaunch my blog, now renamed Threads of Jana. While it’s not related to sewing (I just think the name sounds cool), this fresh start reflects some of the big life changes I’ve made over the past year. From weight loss with Saxenda to a huge career shift and personal growth, I’ve been on quite the journey. Whether you’re here for inspiration, curiosity (Kia ora, past, present and future employers!) or connection, I hope my experiences resontate and provide something valuable to you. Let’s get started!
I’m not going to dive into everything right now – that’s what future posts are for! But here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect to see on Threads of Jana:
Lifestyle Changes
I’ve been on a jouirney of self-improvement, including weight loss and trying out new recipies and ideas that have worked for me. I’ll share these tips in a way that’s quick and to the point (no long-winded backstroeies before getting to the recipe – promise!)
Thoughts on Politics
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more poltically aware and invovled. Occasionally, I’ll share my thoughts on current events or issues. Just a heads-up: this is my space, and while I’m open to respectful debates, I’m not here for arugments. It’s not your cup of tea, feel free to scroll past.
Travel Adventures
I’ve always loved writing about my travels, and I regreat not recapping my Europe trip properly. Moving foward, I plan to blog more on the go, capturing moments as they happen. Expect stories, tips and reflections from my adventures!
Miscellanous fun
Becuase it’s my blog, there will always be room for some lighthearted or random posts. Think things like “5 tips for a Staycation in Your Hometown” which I wrote during COVID. Sometimes, you just need a bit of fun!
Personal Growth
Recently, I’ve started using Saenda for weight loss, began taking anti-depressants to manage anxiety and even picked up running. I love discovery and sharing new ideas, talking about downfalls, pitfalls etc so we can all learn and discover what works for ourselves š
At its core, this blog is an online journal – a space for me write, reflect and grow! I’d really love some interaction and to get back into the blogging community, so if you see something you like – comment! Let’s connect! š
And on the note of keeping things short. I’m off for a run. š Ka keetz.
